Our Lady's Hill

A 20-hectare property located in the border between Bacolod and Bago,
it was developed in the 1960s as a Retreat and Seminar House.
In the recent years, further construction have added
a Hermitage for the resident OCD monks, and this year,
the St. Therese of the Child Jesus Hall.
In this sanctuary of serenity, a person can truly feel
the closeness of the Almighty… one cannot help but pray and meditate in this unique place.
It
is also currently "home" to the OCD postulants who will hopefully find
their individual Carmelite vocations in this haven of peace.

Constructed 50 years ago, it is the oldest Carmelite structure in Negros Occidental.
As with most Carmelite Monasteries in the world, one feels a distinct "air" upon entering the gates --
that elusive quality of other worldliness which can only be found in Carmel..
